While some say it doesn’t live up to the original, you and your family will still laugh, and have your heart tugged on with this feel-good family adventure!

From Roald Dahl and Steven Spielberg, take your family on a fantasy adventure filled with adventurous children and huge giants! While this movie may be a little scary for younger ones, your older children should love it.

August starting means a few things around here: 1) School is starting soon! 2) Your kids have been home all summer. 3) It’s still hot outside! If you’re like us, you love having your kids home all summer so you can make memories with them, and it’s also a great time for teaching good life habits. Staying on top of school work, helping around the house, and being active are all things we want for our children, but sometimes they need a little extra incentive. What better way to reward good habits than a trip to Family Fun Center with their friends!

1) Staying on top of school work

Believe it or not, school is about to be in full swing again. Soon your kids will be bringing home projects, homework, and maybe even lists of words to studying spelling. If they take it upon themselves to start working on a project early or ask you to help them study — show them that you notice! Once their project is complete or they’re ready for their test, bring them by to Family Fun Center for a round of mini golf!

2) Helping around the house

Chores will never be easy for kids! Why would they want to clean their room when it’s a beautiful day outside? It can be fun to offer a time-limit to their room cleaning, and if they get it done within 30 minutes, they can come play laser tag in our arena! (Make sure to check under the bed to make sure they actually cleaned, though!)

3) Staying Active

This one is simple, and you can get two birds with one stone! With so many video games and tv shows to keep our children distracted, sometimes they need some motivation to go out and play! Our Funtasia indoor Play area is the perfect place to keep kids active even during the hot Florida Summers!
